Happy St. Patricks Day Sculpted and Painted Cake

This cake is a teapot. The figures and icing are rolled fondant. The Celtic knot is hand painted with royal icing. The figurines can be made far in advance so they harden and stand up better. The armatures for them are spaghetti, so they are edible but real hard.

This cake is $35 and serves four.

This is the front of the cake. Those are leprechauns with daisies living in their teapot. Their little hats and clothing are four leaf clovers.

This is the top of the cake. I eyeballed the Celtic knot design from a pendant of mine. The teapot spout is on the left, and a leprechuan sits on the handle, on the right.
