The baby Shower CakeThis was a baby shower cake for a boy. I only had two days to make this cake from scratch. If I had more time, I would build the crib frame from wood because the fondant without support will sag. Then I would cover the wood frame with fondant.It was chocolate marble with sculpted fondant with royal icing highlights. The bottom reads “Hugs and Kisses, Donna and Baby”. This cake is $75, plus $10 for delivery and serves a lot.
